LEAVE A LEGACY™is an award winning, national public awareness campaign that encourages people from all walks of life to write a will, and include a charitable bequest. The core message of the program is that each of us has the potential to make a difference in the lives that follow by leaving a charitable bequest.
LEAVE A LEGACY™Arizona (LALAZ) is an initiative of the Planned Giving Roundtable Table of Arizona (PGRTAZ). The PGRTAZ is a membership organization that is joined by people who have expertise in charitable giving. This is an association of professionals who have joined together for the betterment of society. Many members are planned giving officers at a local charities and other members include estate planning professionals of all kinds.
Regardless of the size of an estate, everyone should have a will. Having a will insures that your wishes are met in the distribution of the estate.
Arizonan’s are generous. Nearly 70% of Arizonans give to charities in their lifetime. But less than 10% include charities in their estate plans. The goal of LALAZ is to increase this percentage so future generations will have a better state and a better society.
